Job Title: Operating and Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating and Maintenance Engineer to manage and oversee maintenance operations and ensure the optimal performance of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to minimize operational disruptions and ensure the reliability of assets through planned preventive and corrective maintenance. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing preventive measures to prevent future issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Coordination & Leadership:
- Direct and oversee the maintenance workforce and activities, including Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and on-site projects.
- Coordinate with the Senior Operating & Maintenance Engineer to prioritize tasks and maintain business continuity.
- Ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

2. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the quality of all maintenance work, both in-house and from AMCs, adheres to industry standards.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to maintain optimal asset reliability.

3. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve the root causes of equipment failures.
- Implement preventive measures to avoid recurring failures and document all failure details.

4. Technical Assistance & Safety Compliance:
- Provide technical support and assistance to maintenance personnel during operations.
- Ensure maintenance work follows safety requirements, SOPs, and manufacturer guidelines.

5. Leadership & Shift Management:
- Lead a team of technicians, ensuring they are equipped to perform their tasks effectively.
- Be available for on-call support 24/7 and ensure work shifts run smoothly.

6. Physical Demands & Environmental Exposure:
- Be able to lift and adjust heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Handle exposure to harsh environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures, dirty environments, bad odors, intense noise, and restricted movement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- CRPEP accreditation is required.

- Experience:
- Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ACMV/AGL/Electrical HV LV/ELV FLS/Electromechanical/Building Services.
- Desirable certifications in the maintenance of these systems are a plus.

- Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Maximo system, MS Project, costing, budgeting, inventory management, and shutdown maintenance planning is preferred.
- Exposure to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) facility management, work specification, assignment, planning, scheduling, and procurement is required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and failure analysis.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting ACMV/AGL/Electrical systems and Electromechanical Building Services.
