EHS Officer

Job Opportunity: Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Assistant

Role:

- Support the EHS function in delivering a Safety and Environmental Management System to achieve zero harm.

- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure high engagement and accountability for safety and environmental improvements.

- Assist in ensuring operations comply with safety and environmental regulations.

- Comply with Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities and legal requirements.

- Report unsafe acts and incidents related to Environment, Health, and Safety.

- Contribute to achieving safety and environmental objectives.

- Maintain awareness of ISO 9001-14001:2015 - 45001:2018.

- Assist in developing safety behavior among operatives and staff.

- Keep records and support the analysis of EHS statistics.

- Conduct safety inspections of specific tools and equipment.

- Assist in maintaining statutory safety and environmental training.

- Provide safety inductions to all staff.

- Manage the maintenance and distribution of PPE.

- Assist in site inspections and EHS audits.

- Support the Environmental Pillar.

- Promote EHS awareness among factory staff and organize events as appropriate.

- Liaise and maintain a cordial working relationship with relevant authorities.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

- Training in Safety, Environmental Management, or associated areas.

Experience:

- Experience working in a manufacturing environment in the areas of safety, health, or environment.
