Job Title: Mason

Key Responsibilities:

1. Masonry Work:
- Perform all masonry work within the hotel on walls, floors, or other items as directed.
- Execute repairs to wall plaster and renderings.
- Undertake repair work on interior and exterior building walls.

2. Construction and Demolition:
- Carry out erection work of new walls and demolition work of existing walls as directed by the supervisor or Assistant Director of Engineering.

3. Tilework:
- Perform repairs on existing wall and floor tilework.
- Lay new tiles as instructed.

4. Safety Compliance:
- Be thoroughly familiar with all regulations regarding safety at work.
- Meticulously observe safety regulations at all times.

5. Cleanliness and Appearance:
- Observe cleanliness at the place of work and ensure cleanliness after completion of work.
- Maintain cleanliness of appearance and uniform, especially when working in guest areas.

6. Flexibility:
- Be entirely flexible and ready to rotate within different sub-sections of the Engineering Department.

7. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Engineering Supervisor and Assistant Director of Engineering.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in masonry work.
- Knowledge of construction and repair techniques.
- Adherence to safety regulations.
- Attention to detail and precision in tilework.
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks within the Engineering Department.
