Job Description
Job Title: Outlet Supervisor
1. Operational Excellence:
- Manage the outlet efficiently, adhering to established concept statements and operating standards outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual.
2. Team Leadership:
- Assign responsibilities to subordinates and conduct periodic performance checks.
- Be present on the floor at all times to oversee operations.
- Assist during busy periods and ensure the outlet is adequately equipped with par stocks for operating equipment and supplies.
3. Inventory and Supplies:
- Conduct monthly inventory checks on operating equipment and supplies.
- Control requisitioning, storage, and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
4. Communication and Coordination:
- Attend Daily Operations Meetings in the absence of the Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager.
- Liaise with Housekeeping and Stewarding Departments to ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to.
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings for ambassadors on preparation, service, and menu.
5. Guest Relations:
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries related to food, beverage, and service.
- Establish and maintain rapport with guests, fostering good customer relationships.
6. Cashiering and Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to outlet cashiering procedures.
- Maintain the outlet Daily Log Book and handle incident reports, "lost and found" items, and repair/maintenance job orders.
7. Planning and Organization:
- Assist in planning festive food promotions with the outlet manager and assistant.
- Contribute to planning the outlet's weekly roster and work schedules.
8. Training and Development:
- Contribute to the training of ambassadors, ensuring they have necessary skills for efficient duties.
- Conduct regular departmental Communications Meetings.
9. Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with terms and conditions of employment, local legislation, and company/hotel policies.
- Inform Food and Beverage Department and Human Resources Department of all training sessions.
- Conduct ambassador yearly performance appraisals.
10. Flexibility and Adaptability:
- Be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within different outlets of the Food and Beverage Department.
11. Additional Duties:
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Outlet Manager and Assistant.
