Job Title: Estimator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator with experience in construction estimating, particularly in lighting projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, coordinating with global manufacturers, and providing technical support for lighting projects. This role is critical in ensuring that project specifications are met in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer and Partner Inquiries: Respond to lighting inquiries from customers and partners, including proposals, documentation, RFIs, and technical certifications.

- Vendor Coordination: Reach out to various global manufacturers to obtain the best prices and technical offers.

- Cost Estimation: Prepare multi-discipline, conceptual, and definitive cost estimates for capital projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.

- Sales Support: Oversee the sales team's schedules and ensure all necessary information is provided for their respective regions.

- Project Assistance: Assist project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations.

- Presentations and Documentation: Prepare lighting presentations, layouts, and bills of quantity for projects, and present them to clients.

- Cross-Specification and Value Engineering: Develop and propose lighting solutions that meet project specifications while optimizing cost and value.

- Cost Engineering: Conduct analysis and cost engineering for each project and their associated purchase orders.

- Product Fit: Determine the most cost-effective product fit to meet project specifications and requirements.

- Design and Technical Submittals: Participate in LCS design discussions for new and existing projects and prepare technical submittals, responding to comments in coordination with sales personnel.

- Project Documentation: Prepare project documentation, including test reports, O&M manuals, and project closure reports, in line with ISO guidelines.

- Pre-Sales Technical Support: Provide technical support during the pre-sales phase of lighting projects.

- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other related duties as needed, including ISO documentation for lighting controls.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science.

- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in the construction industry (commercial or residential projects).

- Skills:
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Experience in lighting projects and familiarity with relevant technical aspects.

- Additional Qualifications:
- Valid KSA driving license is an added advantage.
