Job Description

Position: Student Service Officer and Operations Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Student Support: Provide comprehensive support and guidance to students, addressing academic, personal, and administrative needs.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving student queries and concerns by providing accurate information and appropriate solutions.
- Orientation Programs: Organize and participate in orientation programs to help new students acclimate to the campus environment.
- Academic Planning: Collaborate with academic advisors to help students understand degree requirements, course sequencing, and academic planning.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate student records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant policies.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between students and various departments, advocating for student needs and representing their interests.
- Events and Workshops: Organize workshops, seminars, and events focused on student success, personal development, and career readiness.
- Policy Knowledge: Stay informed about institutional policies, regulations, and compliance requirements related to student services.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other departments to enhance student experiences and streamline processes.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from students regarding their experiences and use this information to improve services and programs.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with students through various channels, including emails, newsletters, and social media.
- Campus Engagement: Organize and participate in campus events, workshops, and activities to enhance student engagement and community building.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
- Knowledge of student administration processes and degree structures.
- Familiarity with student administration systems, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to evaluate information and data to solve problems and make decisions.
- Attention to accuracy and quality when completing tasks.

- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus one year of related experience in an educational setting.
- Candidates without a bachelor’s degree but with equivalent professional experience are encouraged to apply.
