Job Title: Technician Level 3 - FMC AC & Mechanical

Roles & Responsibilities

- Coordination:
- Coordinate with the assigned supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently.

- Diagnosis and Repair:
- Diagnose causes of problems and failures in air conditioning systems to identify equipment and system repair or replacement needs.
- Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning systems and components such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, SACs, pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, and piping.

- Fabrication and Installation:
- Fabricate equipment parts to meet specialty needs or replace unavailable parts.
- Install air conditioning equipment and systems to provide enhanced or upgraded capabilities.

- Inspection and Maintenance:
- Inspect HVAC systems and components (e.g., chillers, AHUs, FCUs, building exhaust fans) to evaluate their condition, identify necessary repairs, and recommend preventive maintenance.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the ongoing functionality of HVAC systems.

- Documentation and Communication:
- Prepare written materials such as activity logs to document activities and convey information.
- Inform personnel about procedures and the status of work orders to facilitate decision-making and compliance with regulations.

- Vehicle and Tool Management:
- Maintain the vehicle, tools, and equipment to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

- Emergency Response:
- Respond to emergencies during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.

- Training and Meetings:
- Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars to gather and convey information required for job functions.

- Inventory Management:
- Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability for installation and repair.

- Miscellaneous Duties:
- Transport tools, equipment, and supplies to job sites as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- Experience:
- 4-5 years of experience in engineering services with exposure to Total Facilities Management services environment.

- Additional Requirements:
- Valid UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
- Flexibility to work anywhere in the UAE.
