Job Title: Mechanical Site Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Site Supervision:
- Oversee and manage mechanical maintenance and shutdown activities on-site, specifically for static equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, and fin fans.
- Ensure that all mechanical work is executed according to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

- Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with various departments and teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance and turnaround projects.
- Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities to align with overall project timelines.

- Technical Support:
- Provide technical expertise and support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of static equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems efficiently.

- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to and enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout all mechanical operations.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of mechanical activities, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on project progress, equipment status, and any issues encountered.

- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to achieve project goals and resolve any technical challenges.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and site personnel.

- Vendor Coordination:
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for maintenance activities.
- Manage procurement processes and ensure quality of materials received.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of GCC experience in shutdown/turnaround oil & gas maintenance with a focus on static equipment.
- Gulf experience is preferred.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- Skills and Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of static equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
