Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced FP&A Manager to join our transportation company. As an FP&A Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary, for management review.
2. Lead the budget and forecast preparation process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
3. Conduct financial feasibility studies and prepare commercial bids to support business development initiatives.
4. Coordinate the finalization of audited financials, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
5. Oversee the monthly closing review process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
6. Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, monitor cash positions, and implement effective cash management strategies.
7. Prepare detailed multi-year financial models, considering various scenarios and business drivers.

Requirements:

1. Relevant professional qualification (ACC, ACA, CPA, CMA, etc.) is required.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
3. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and SOCPA standards, with the ability to apply them effectively.
4. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3-4 years in a similar role within the transportation or logistics industry.
5. Prior exposure to an audit firm is advantageous, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial controls and reporting requirements.
6. Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, with a track record of driving operational and financial improvements.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Familiarity with power tools like Power BI and Power Query is a plus.
8. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
