Job Description

Job Title: Contracts Lead

Key Result Responsibilities:

1. Contract Planning:
- Plan and execute contracting activities, including periodic reviews and renewals, in consultation with stakeholders. Prepare terms for RFP related to contract conditions.

2. Contract Drafting and Review:
- Prepare, review, and edit contracts and agreements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and legal standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks.

3. Negotiations:
- Engage in negotiations with external parties to secure favorable terms and conditions for Air Arabia.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contract terms with business objectives and ensure timely award of contracts.

5. Contract Lifecycle Management:
- Maintain a comprehensive contract repository and tracking system. Monitor contract lifecycle, deadlines, and renewal dates. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, service levels, and terms in collaboration with end users.

6. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard the organization's interests.

7. Legal Compliance:
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

8. Process Improvement:
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance contract management efficiency. Effectively use a contract lifecycle management system.

9. Template Development:
- Develop and update contract templates and guidelines.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, law, commerce, or Master of Business Administration.
- MCIPS or equivalent.

- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel advanced level).
- Fluent in English.

Work Experience:

- Strong understanding of contract law, negotiations, and legal terminology.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in contract management software/tools is preferred.
- Experience in contract management in the airlines industry.
- Familiarity with IATA framework agreements and international contracts and regulations.
