Fabricator - PVC

Position Title: Fabricator - PVC

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Pipe and Fitting Preparation:
- Responsible for cutting pipes, fittings, and sheets to the required angles and alignments.

2. Assembly and Cleaning:
- Responsible for gluing/jointing and cleaning various components during the fabrication process.

3. Welding:
- Perform welding using PVC/HDPE welding rods.

4. Data Entry and Technical Understanding:
- Perform additional functions related to data entry.
- Understand isometric drawings, spool shapes, and their functions.

5. GRP Lamination:
- Perform GRP lamination work as per required specifications on fabricated fittings and spools.

6. Site Joint Work:
- Perform joint work on-site as needed.

7. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Adhere to HSE guidelines and ensure a safe working environment.

8. Additional Tasks:
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

9. Epoxy and ISO Resin Handling:
- Build-up of all epoxy and ISO resin flanges.
- Handle GRP adhesives.

10. Cutting and Grinding:
- Experience in cutting and grinding GRP pipe fittings and baskets using diamond cutters and grinders.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant fabrication work experience, preferably with plastic pipes and fittings in a construction or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in fabrication works within a plastic pipes and fittings environment.

- Skills:
- Ability to understand pipes and fittings specification drawings.
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
- Good creative skills.
- Acceptable English verbal communication skills.
