Job Title:

The Microsoft Defender Security Consultant is responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting Microsoft Defender security solutions across endpoints, identity, cloud apps, and Office 365. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Defender products and the ability to handle operational incidents, service requests, and troubleshooting tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Deployment and Operations:
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Servers, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender for Office 365.
- Handle operational incidents and fulfill service requests related to Microsoft Defender solutions.

- Configuration and Troubleshooting:
- Configure endpoint security policies through Intune and direct onboarding mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot issues identified during the deployment of Microsoft Defender solutions.

- Incident Management:
- Manage incidents on Defender 365 solutions from a daily operations perspective.
- Ensure timely resolution of security incidents and service requests.

- Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Overall 3-4 years of experience handling Microsoft Defender security solutions.
- Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender for Office 365.

- Skills and Certifications:
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues during deployment.
- Knowledge of configuring endpoint security policies through Intune.
- SC 200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst) or MS 500 (Microsoft 365 Security Administration) certifications are an added advantage.
