Position: Project Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to oversee and lead construction projects in UAE-Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects and will possess exceptional leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and regularly report on project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and seamless project delivery.
- Implement and maintain strict safety protocols and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to project specifications.
- Proactively identify and address potential project risks and challenges, and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize disruption and ensure project success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders, and act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications and updates.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment and promoting professional development and growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, and uphold ethical and professional conduct in all project activities.

Salary: AED 70,000 to 80,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Director or in a similar senior leadership role within the construction industry, with a successful track record of delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
- Previous experience working with international project management consultants or real estate development firms.
- UAE experience, leading the construction supervision of buildings, ideally within the residential sector.
- Strong understanding of construction project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams and stakeholders, and to effectively communicate project objectives, progress, and challenges to senior management and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders, and to effectively negotiate and resolve project-related issues and conflicts.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices, with a commitment to upholding the highest safety and quality standards on all projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address project risks and challenges, and to implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
