Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning:

- Develop a comprehensive plan for production activities, including timelines and costs, to ensure timely fabrication of products.

- Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and specifications.

2. Workflow Development:

- Contribute to the development of workflows and procedures within the factory by conducting plans to schedule activities.

- Supervise production procedures, ensuring adherence to schedules.

3. Monitoring and Modification:

- Monitor production progress, identify delays, and modify schedules if required to meet approved timelines.

- Collaborate with other departments to align production requirements with plant capacity.

4. Strategic Planning:

- Identify production specifications and provide strategic plans for improvement, budgeting, and timelines.

- Collaborate with the business development section for new product development through market research.

5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments to determine production requirements and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and products.

- Monitor department budgets and inventory levels on a quarterly basis.

6. Team Management and Training:

- Train and manage subordinates in various systems related to planning.

- Ensure all team members commit to the approved plan and timeline.

7. Evaluation and Reporting:

- Participate in weekly and monthly evaluation meetings.

- Prepare reports on planning activities and analyze results for performance improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent field.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a production planning engineer, with previous experience in the wood industry.

- Excellent time management and project management skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

- Ability to conduct detailed plans for production activities in alignment with estimated timeframes.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage risks in production projects.
