As a Senior Data Scientist in our fast-paced, digital-native business, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data capabilities. Working closely with an international team across Europe and Asia, you will leverage your technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen to deliver actionable insights and drive business growth. Responsibilities:

Accountabilities:

- Support effective pricing decision-making through insightful analytics and predictive models to increase profitability while managing risk.
- Identify key opportunities for business growth by analyzing customer relationships, pricing, products, and market dynamics.
- Champion responsible and privacy-compliant use of data within the organization, especially in predictive modeling.
- Drive the creation of production-level services to identify and prevent abuse and fraud within the player/agent base.
- Partner with Data and Product Engineering teams to improve data quality and utility across the business.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and shape requirements.
- Design and implement analytical approaches using data mining, statistics, experimentation, and machine learning.
- Provide briefings to stakeholders on project results with clear visualizations and accessible conclusions.
- Optimize machine learning models for performance and accuracy.
- Operationalize models and incorporate them into production-grade services.
- Identify and onboard third-party data sources to support work.
- Mentor and coach junior analysts and Data Scientists.
- Occasional travel to Europe and Asia to collaborate with local teams.

Qualifications:

- 8+ years in Data Science or Advanced Analytics.
- Strong grasp of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with a variety of Machine Learning models and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Proficiency in Python programming and statistical programming.
- Experience working with different data sources and feature extraction.
- Experience in a trading or agent-based environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present results to stakeholders.
- Track record of mentoring and helping others grow their Data Science skills.
- Fluent in English language.
