Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Executive / AV Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Executive / AV Technician to provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will manage hardware and software issues, maintain AV systems, and ensure optimal performance of IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly to support requests from end-users.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage and maintain AV systems, including LED walls and screens.
- Ensure the performance and accuracy of CCTV systems.
- Monitor and maintain door access, parking gate control, and biometric systems.
- Provide support for operating systems, software applications, and network-related issues.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patch management, and system backups.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on the proper use of hardware and software.
- Develop and update user manuals and guides to assist employees with common software and hardware issues.
- Document and track all support requests.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or the IT Manager when necessary.
- Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues and Wi-Fi configurations.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry standards.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives, providing support and expertise as required.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT upgrades and implementations.
- Be available for occasional evening or weekend work to address critical issues.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Basic understanding of networking principles and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
