Job Description
Job Title: Technical Service Engineer
Role Overview:
As a Technical Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and resolving customer cases, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. You will collaborate with vendors, stay updated on industry advancements, and provide technical support across hardware and software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize multiple customer cases to resolution.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for customers.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
- Perform regular system updates and patches.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical support or a related role.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proactive, independent worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
