Job Description
Job Title: Vacation Rental Property Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Property Manager to oversee and coordinate various aspects of our Airbnb and short-term rental properties. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Support:
- Provide in-person and remote assistance to guests, ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Respond to guest inquiries promptly (within 20 minutes during shifts) and manage communications from booking to check-out.
- Build rapport with guests and address any issues to ensure a 5-star experience.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance Oversight:
- Supervise the cleaning and maintenance of properties to uphold high standards.
- Hire, schedule, and manage cleaners and maintenance staff.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs.
3. Furnishing Management:
- Oversee the furnishing and outfitting of properties to meet quality and style standards.
- Conduct property inspections and create detailed inventory lists and inspection reports.
4. Vendor Coordination:
- Liaise with vendors, including cleaning services and maintenance contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
5. Contract and Proposal Drafting:
- Draft management proposals, contracts, and inspection reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Coordinate with the accounts team to provide owners with monthly performance statements.
6. Pricing Strategy:
- Assist in developing pricing strategies by analyzing market trends and pricing competitively.
- Implement a fluctuating pricing strategy based on demand, competition, and seasonality.
7. Marketing and Distribution:
- Create attractive property listings with professional photos and detailed descriptions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience in property management, hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and varying guest needs.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
