Job Description
Job Title: Gynecologist (Female)
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Examinations:
- Perform annual and regular examinations on patients to diagnose various gynecological conditions.
2. Record and Update Medical Histories:
- Record and update patients' medical histories for comprehensive healthcare management.
3. Provide Birth Control Advice:
- Advise patients on suitable birth control options based on individual health needs and preferences.
4. Perform Diagnostic Tests:
- Conduct various diagnostic tests, including Pap smears, STD tests, ultrasounds, and hormone profile blood tests.
5. Communicate Test Results and Diagnoses:
- Explain test results, diagnoses, and treatment options to patients, ensuring clear understanding.
6. Referral to Specialists:
- Refer patients to other healthcare specialists as needed for collaborative and comprehensive care.
7. Educate on Reproductive Health:
- Educate patients on reproductive health issues, disease prevention, and overall well-being.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Residency and board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Valid medical license (MOH) to practice as a Gynecologist in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of female patients.
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying abreast of advancements in the field.
