Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining complex systems related to HVAC, steam boilers, chillers, unit packages, and industrial laundry equipment. This role involves both corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of these systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on HVAC systems, steam boilers, chillers, unit packages, and industrial laundry equipment, including extractor washing machines.

- Maintenance & Upgrades:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Execute corrective and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Upgrade and install PLCs, VFDs, inverters, and other control systems.

- Programming & Control Systems:
- Program and modify control systems using C language and ladder logic.
- Work with various PLC models, including Delta (DVP series), LS (XGB series), Siemens (S7 series), and Allen-Bradley (MicroLogix series).

- Collaboration & Compliance:
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to solve complex technical problems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.

- Support & Training:
- Provide technical support and training to other team members and clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of electrical concepts related to HVAC systems, steam boilers, chillers, unit packages, and industrial laundry equipment.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in thermal and cooling systems.
- Proficiency in conducting both corrective and preventive maintenance.
- Experience in upgrading and installing PLCs, VFDs, and inverters.
- Proficiency in programming with C language and ladder logic.
- Familiarity with PLC models from brands such as Delta (DVP series), LS (XGB series), Siemens (S7 series), and Allen-Bradley (MicroLogix series).

- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in PLC programming, VFD installation, and maintenance.
- Experience with industrial laundry equipment, specifically extractor washing machines.
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends and advancements in instrumentation engineering.
