Job Title: Senior Officer - Aviation Security We are seeking a highly competent Senior Officer - Aviation Security to be the focal point for all security-related matters in the Network Control Center (NCC). This role involves continuous communication, reporting, and decision-making between flydubai Operations and the flydubai Aviation Security Department (FZAVSEC) concerning aviation and travel security incidents and risk management situations. Key Responsibilities - Operational Monitoring: - Monitor daily flydubai operations to identify and mitigate any potential aviation and travel security incidents, trends, or scenarios. - Assess local and international security situations that could affect flydubai operations and make swift decisions based on policies and procedures. - Stakeholder Liaison: - Liaise with the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Dubai Police, and other aviation security stakeholders to address aviation and travel security-related matters. - Security Awareness: - Support FZAVSEC in promoting and maintaining a security awareness culture across flydubai. - Incident Management: - Handle travel security situations involving employee-related incidents. - Communicate final outcomes of security incident risk assessments. - Act as a focal point during crisis management and emergencies, coordinating with the Threat Assessment Group (TAG). - Data Monitoring: - Monitor security service provider communication platforms and Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) to ensure security during daily operations and navigation over or near conflict zones. - Collect and record data on international security incidents, evaluating potential interference with operations and brand reputation, and communicate findings to AVSEC Management Team and TAG. - Special Category Conveyance: - Coordinate and communicate special category conveyance requirements across the network, including approvals for deportee passengers, weapons, and other commodities, contributing to revenue generation. - Communication &amp; Reporting: - Provide relevant updates and guidance on security requirements and incidents to all employees on a 24/7 basis. - Create daily aviation/travel security reports for all security incidents. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. - IATA Airline Security Accreditation. - Certification or equivalent approval by appropriate authority or association (e.g., IATA Aviation Security Course). - Preferable: AVSEC PM - Aviation Security Professional Management. Experience Requirements: - 6 years of relevant experience (without relevant degree). Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements: - OSINT, SOCMINT, GEOINT, and/or IMINT qualifications. - Training or certification in business analysis tools (e.g., Tableau). - Training in intelligence monitoring and/or social media monitoring platforms. - Familiarity with collection tools (e.g., Feedly, Feedbro, IFTTT, TweetDeck, Telegram, alert maps). - Familiarity with geospatial tools (e.g., Google Earth, Earth Explorer, Sentinel, Landsat).
