Position: Pricing Coordinator

Position Purpose:

As a Pricing Coordinator, your primary responsibility is to support the pricing team by developing accurate pricing proposals, maintaining pricing information, and improving pricing processes.

Responsibilities:

Receive, acknowledge, and understand pricing requests from customers, including RMCs, corporates, and the sales team, to create accurate pricing proposals or ad-hoc quotes.

Analyze customer data, considering usage history and comparable rates, to determine optimal pricing.

Prepare and review pricing proposals and ad-hoc quotes, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and policies.

Promptly submit pricing proposals and quotes to the appropriate teams.

Assist in negotiating prices with suppliers to identify cost-effective solutions.

Maintain up-to-date pricing information in databases and systems.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for process enhancement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Operations, to streamline and improve the pricing process.

Stay informed about industry trends and evolving strategies, particularly in the RMC sector.

Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or related field is a plus.

Prior experience in pricing, sales support, or related roles is preferred.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in working with numerical data.

Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and pricing tools.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple pricing requests.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for interactions with internal teams and customers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of the relocation industry and familiarity with pricing strategies is beneficial but not mandatory.
