Roles & Responsibilities:

Job Summary:
As the Joinery/Furniture Production In-Charge, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our joinery and furniture production processes. You will oversee daily operations, lead the production team, ensure quality standards are met, and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Production Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of joinery and furniture production facilities.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet project timelines.
- Monitor and enhance production efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team, including joiners, carpenters, and craftsmen.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all joinery and furniture products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the production process.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.

Resource Management:
- Manage allocation of resources, including materials, manpower, and machinery.
- Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to enhance product design.
- Introduce new technologies and methodologies to enhance production capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Requirements:
- Proven experience in joinery and furniture production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in woodworking.
