Job Title: Laundry Technician

Job Responsibilities:

1. Repair and maintain hotel linen and ambassadors' uniforms in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.
2. Ensure sewing machines and other equipment are in good working condition; report any repair requirements to the Supervisor.
3. Distribute and collect uniforms and linen, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
4. Monitor and report any repairs needed for guest and ambassador laundry to the Assistant Manager/Supervisor Laundry.
5. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the working area.
6. Fit new ambassadors with their new uniforms and make alterations if necessary.
7. Alter and maintain a record of discarded linen and uniform.
8. Assist with inventory of uniforms and linen.
9. Assist with the distribution of guest and ambassador laundry.
10. Report any found items to the Supervisor.
11. Coordinate closely with laundry attendants to ensure a smooth workflow and assist them in daily operations.
12. Read and complete the laundry logbooks and reports.
13. Carry out special projects as assigned.
14. Attend a daily line-up briefing with the Housekeeping team.
15. Be flexible and adapt to rotating within the different sub-sections of the Housekeeping Department.
16. Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Laundry Supervisor and Assistant Laundry Manager.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in laundry operations and garment repair.
- Knowledge of sewing machines and equipment maintenance.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
- Ability to collaborate with the Housekeeping team for a smooth workflow.
- Flexibility to adapt to different sections within the Housekeeping Department.
