Transport Coordinator

The Role

As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of vehicles to customers, managing cargo dispatch, optimizing truck utilization, and maximizing customer satisfaction while minimizing costs. Your duties will include:

- Ensuring timely delivery of vehicles to customers according to projections.
- Allocating vehicles and manpower for efficient cargo dispatch.
- Optimizing truck utilization to ensure effective operations.
- Maximizing customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.
- Analyzing and implementing improvements in processes, procedures, and customer/carrier issues.
- Managing the performance of drivers and staff.
- Submitting all required reports to superiors on time.
- Undertaking other logistics functions as requested or needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
