Role Overview:
As part of the growing team in Oman, Mott MacDonald is seeking Civil Engineers to contribute to Oil and Gas projects. The role involves providing detailed engineering computations and analysis, participating in design phases, liaising with other disciplines, and ensuring compliance with relevant international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis for statutory submissions.
2. Offer engineering input during all design phases, interpreting and challenging standards.
3. Produce design sketches and reports for schematic, detailed design, and construction phases.
4. Coordinate designs with other disciplines to ensure alignment with requirements.
5. Prepare requisitions and technically evaluate bids for materials, structures, and equipment.
6. Understand and ensure compliance with the Company's quality management system.

Candidate Specification:
- Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in consultancy, preferably in Oil and Gas engineering.
- Front-end and detailed design experience of Oil and Gas facilities.
- Proficient in 3D structural design and analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro).
- Familiarity with international standards and design codes (e.g., Eurocodes, American standards).
- Basic understanding of geotechnical engineering and investigation requirements.
- Familiarity with BIM tools and project delivery in BIM.
- Positive attitude, strong desire to learn, and effective team support.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
