Production Engineer Intern-1

Position: Production Engineer

Responsibilities:
As an engineer in the Production Department, your main responsibility is to schedule and ensure the completion of all planned activities at the highest level of quality to minimize disruption to operations. Key deliverables include:

1. Schedule and maintain manpower, resources, and machinery in the production department.
2. Arrange raw materials required for production from the warehouse/stores in coordination with the planning department.
3. Communicate and monitor produced lengths to ensure final lengths meet specifications with minimum scrap and short lengths.
4. Arrange daily production requirements according to the machine schedule for operators, including materials and tooling needed during the shift.
5. Assist in scheduling and arranging manning requirements per machine and update the daily machine schedule.
6. Conduct various in-process checks to ensure process quality compliance as per Quality Control Plan (QCP).
7. Control raw material consumption and scrap generation in each process through daily monitoring.
8. Supervise production personnel to ensure timely and proper work execution with adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
9. Ensure supervisors and operators are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated for safe, timely, and cost-effective production.
10. Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
11. Coordinate activities with the HSE Department and implement programs to ensure plant cleanliness.
12. Conduct inventories.

Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics)

Skills/Knowledge:
- Knowledge of plant machinery and related skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) in Arabic and English.
- Familiarity with scheduling techniques.
- Relationship management skills.
- Ability to make timely decisions.
- Knowledge of production scheduling, planning, and execution.

Experience:
- Fresh graduate
