Key Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the planning and scheduling of the engineering scope for the project.
2. Provide inputs for the project technical document register and procurement register.
3. Ensure that the Engineering team lead engineers address the project’s manpower requirements.
4. Monitor engineering progress, address shortfalls, and develop recovery plans when required.
5. Ensure that engineering deliverables meet project requirements and follow project-specific procedures.
6. Participate in project engineering reviews and assist in resolving issues arising from them.
7. Perform checks to ensure that procurement specifications align with project specifications.
8. Coordinate with the procurement team on the requisitioning process and bid evaluations.
9. Participate in pre-order bid meetings with vendors and attend kick-off meetings after order award.
10. Provide assistance in strategic procurement planning.
11. Attend project review meetings and ensure associated reports are compiled and distributed.
12. Address interface items between disciplines and seek management advice where required.
13. Identify potential areas of variation during engineering and communicate them to the project management team.
14. Provide inputs to discipline supervisors on areas of attention required during proposal estimating.
15. Assist project team lead engineers in their interactions with client counterparts during project execution.
