The Opportunity:
WPB Operation - GSC Cairo is looking for an Assistant Department Manager to lead an approved number of Full Time Employees (FTE) within their designated department, supporting all product lines, partners, and initiatives. The role involves managing the daily operations of a contact and/or processing center, ensuring that customers receive quality service through all channels of customer contact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reconciliation of ATMs cash dispensed and debit card transaction settlement.
- Forecast and place cash orders for ATMs serviced by the third-party vendor.
- Process and balance daily ATMs cash flow reports, aiming to minimize bank loss exposure.
- Perform entries to the general ledger.
- Order, print, and mail rush cards to clients.
- Provide extensive support to branches with ATM debit cards/cash issues.
- Perform maintenance on existing card records.
- Daily review and work on various debit card reports.
- Requesting the needed cash from the vault.
- Reviewing the cash-out and verifying the accurate cash forecast.
- Allocating tasks among team members.

- High speed and accuracy of complex processing, checking, and approving to meet stringent cut-off times and minimize financial loss to the bank.
- Ensure error-free processing. Coach and provide feedback accordingly.
- Understanding critical documentation and interpreting information and risk involved. Share knowledge with the team.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced processing environment and supervise the team simultaneously.
- Effective and speedy prompt problem-solving skills.
- Providing quality service to internal customers.
- Discrepancies.

Additional Skills:
- WPB experience is a must.
- Ability to speak and understand English fluently, write business letters and reports, and have good conversational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately.
- Ability to understand and interpret numeric data.
- Minimum basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to build rapport with and relate to a wide range of people.
- Ability to maintain focus while working with voluminous data.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- WFM knowledge is required.
- Awareness of HSBC risk management framework.
