Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Officer

Overview of the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated HSE Officer to join our team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role with a strong background in occupational health and safety. As an HSE Officer, you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Program Development:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

2. Risk Management:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop procedures to mitigate potential hazards.

3. Training and Guidance:
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.

4. Incident Investigation:
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

5. Regulatory Compliance:
- Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

6. Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to incidents, inspections, and training.

7. Inspections and Audits:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

8. Emergency Response Planning:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.

9. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends and developments in health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and provide recommendations for improving safety performance.

Skills:

Required:
- Knowledge of local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA).
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.

Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
