Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

- Assist HSE Engineer with the implementation and execution of Petronash HSE Management system and Policy requirements.
- Conduct Job Safety analysis/ risk assessment and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
- Perform H&S inspections and report unsafe work conditions for necessary action.
- Prepare and implement HSE Plans.
- Create training plans (internal/external) and conduct training sessions.
- Lead incident investigations, identify, record, and track actions.
- Conduct and record fire drills.
- Prepare Aramco Site HSE documentation.
- Plan and conduct quarterly HSE Campaigns and incentive programs.
- Prepare HSE reports as per procedure.
- Report on a daily basis to line manager and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist HSE Manager in internal/external audits.

Skills and Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2-4 years of practical experience in occupational H&S.
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Engineering.
- HSE Diploma.
- IOSH, NEBOSH Qualified/Accreditations, H&S relevant training.
- Ability to adhere to Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and work requirements.
- Training Delivery.
- Documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of local regulatory H&S requirements.
- Ability to prepare and update H&S statistical tracking and trending data.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office.
