Job Description: Information Security Specialist

Objective & Scope: As an Information Security Specialist, you will play a key role in the information security team. Your primary responsibility is to maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with international standards. You will oversee various aspects of information security, including internal and external security reviews, data privacy compliance, asset inventory, risk analysis, and physical security for IT. Your role is crucial in safeguarding our organization's information assets and ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and initiate internal and external security reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations in all projects and functions.

  • Maintain an inventory of all ABAITD assets and coordinate with teams to perform risk analysis.

  • Develop risk treatment and mitigation plans.

  • Manage day-to-day information physical security activities for IT.

  • Ensure compliance with ABA IT Division's security policies and procedures.

  • Protect ABA IT Division's information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference.

  • Report security events, potential incidents, and threats.

  • Promote security awareness through orientation and educational programs.

  • Analyze new security threats and vulnerabilities and recommend prevention methods.

  • Assist in managing external and internal audits.

  • Participate in security assessments, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

  • Contribute to defining, implementing, and maintaining IT security policies.

  • Coordinate and gather information on new security trends from external vendors.

Analysis:

Assess new technologies and solutions against information security policies and standards.

Assist in developing criteria for assessing compliance of applications and technology infrastructure with enterprise security standards.

Innovation:

Identify and propose innovative techniques for improving systems security.

Stay updated on the latest security issues and industry trends.

Identify improvement opportunities within the scope and recommend innovative solutions.

Provide recommendations for technology advancement and change.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a field related to Information Security.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Information Security department.

Proficiency in Information Security Management System.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
