Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead the daily operations of our Housekeeping department. This role involves providing support to the operations team both indoors and outdoors, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service are maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to manage multiple buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily Operations Management:
- Lead and support the daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
- Assist in training and hiring new team members.
- Ensure all tasks and standards are maintained consistently.

- Client Collaboration:
- Collaborate with clients to address inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Maintain close working relationships with clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

- Inspections and Feedback:
- Conduct site visits and provide feedback to management.
- Act on all client comments and complaints based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Supply Management:
- Check and maintain adequate levels of supplies and materials.
- Request replenishment of supplies as needed.

- Opening and Closing Procedures:
- Carry out opening and closing procedures in accordance with standards and procedures.
- Ensure accurate completion of any reports.

- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership that inspires and engages the team.
- Assist the team in achieving daily goals.
- Assist with staff scheduling to ensure all jobs are covered.

- Action Plans and Reporting:
- Create action plans and update departmental progress based on client feedback.
- Prepare work schedules and ensure coverage in assigned areas.

- Additional Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Facility Management Company.
- Experience in soft services (1 year required).

- Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple buildings and supervise operations effectively.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in managing supplies and inventory.

- Licenses and Certifications:
- Manual driving license (required).
- Ability to commute/relocate to Dubai (preferred).
