Job Opportunity: Corporate Event Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Account Manager to drive the success of our events each year. As the organizational engine behind our events, you'll play a pivotal role in managing multiple events simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and fostering growth within our events and marketing function.

Responsibilities:

- Planning and Organizing: Develop production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available for successful event execution.
- Supervising Production Staff: Manage and guide a team of workers, assigning tasks to ensure productivity and adherence to safety regulations.
- Monitoring Production Processes: Regularly assess the production line to identify issues or bottlenecks, taking corrective actions to maintain efficient operations.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed company standards. Analyze production data and address any quality-related concerns.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with purchasing departments to ensure availability of raw materials, and minimize waste or excess inventory.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may impact production schedules or quality.
- Event Planning: Produce proposals for assigned events, including timelines, venues, suppliers, draft budgets, and staffing requirements. Support the Events team in event planning, contract negotiation, and logistics.
- Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks, including inbox management, travel bookings, and additional marketing and events tasks as needed. Assist in developing and implementing new projects.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver events under the supervision of the Senior Events Officer.

Candidate Requirements:

- At least 2-3 years of corporate marketing or event management experience.
- Outstanding project management skills, ideally with experience using CRM or event-management software.
- Strong organization and management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating with vendors and stakeholders.
- Ability to make decisions quickly and manage multiple competing projects and priorities.
- Self-driven and motivated, able to work independently as well as part of a team. Remote work experience preferred.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Available for travel to events (1-2 events annually).
- College degree, ideally in events, administration, or related field.
