Job Description

Job Title: Duty Manager - Food and Beverage

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Duty Managers to join our team in delivering exceptional service and genuine hospitality at our food and beverage establishment in Dubai. As a Duty Manager, you will take charge of the space, ensuring smooth operations and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Reporting directly to the Assistant General Manager, you will oversee staff performance, manage day-to-day operations, and uphold our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Staff Management: Supervise all staff on duty, ensuring they perform their roles effectively and adhere to company standards.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct inspections of equipment at the beginning and end of shifts, reporting any concerns or repair needs to the General Manager.
- Pre-shift Meetings: Hold pre-shift meetings with front-of-house staff to discuss daily objectives and assignments.
- Guest and Employee Relations: Address and resolve complaints from guests and employees, providing solutions to issues such as simulator crashes, customer complaints, and inquiries.
- Shift Flow Management: Manage the flow of operations throughout the day, including simulator assignments, events, and staff redirection as needed.
- Team Development: Coach and develop team members, identifying talent and facilitating training opportunities for growth.
- Opening and Closing Procedures: Supervise opening and closing procedures to ensure cleanliness and readiness for customers.
- Knowledge and Troubleshooting: Possess in-depth knowledge of simulator function and troubleshooting techniques to handle customer requests effectively.
- League Night Management: Oversee all aspects of league nights, including scheduling, payments, and ensuring a positive experience for participants.
- Event Coordination: Act as the on-site lead during events, greeting guests, resolving issues, and ensuring contracted services are delivered.
- Financial Oversight: Conduct financial audits and spot checks to prevent misuse and ensure compliance with financial goals.
- Inventory Management: Take inventory of departmental supplies and ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained.
- VIP and Member Relations: Host VIP events and members, providing personalized service and fostering strong relationships.
- Team Morale: Organize team-building exercises and encourage healthy competition to maintain high team morale.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Duty Manager in the food and beverage industry preferred.
- Language: Proficiency in English is preferred.
- Skills: Positive attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and flexibility to work various shifts.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and obtain necessary licensing and certifications.
