Job Title: Waiter/Waitress

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Waiter or Waitress to enhance the dining experience for our customers. The ideal candidate should possess the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Greet and escort customers to their tables.
2. Present menus and provide detailed information when asked.
3. Prepare tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
4. Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations.
5. Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
6. Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering software or order slips.
7. Check customers' IDs for age requirements when serving alcoholic beverages.
8. Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff.
9. Serve food and drink orders promptly.
10. Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation.
11. Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
12. Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
13. Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
14. Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials and changes in the menu.
15. Follow health department regulations.
16. Provide excellent customer service to guests.

Requirements and Skills:
1. Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress.
2. Hands-on experience with cash registers and ordering information systems.
3. Basic math skills.
4. Attentiveness and patience for customers.
5. Excellent presentation skills.
6. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
7. Active listening and effective communication skills.
8. Team spirit and flexibility to work in shifts.
9. High school diploma; food safety training is a plus.
