Head of Finance Job in UAE

Job Summary:

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Head of Finance to join our team in the UAE. At Revolut, our Finance team plays a crucial role in our global financial operations, and we're seeking a leader who can manage finances, implement financial controls, and drive accounting automation.

Responsibilities:

- Manage finances and oversee financial control in the UAE.
- Own the general ledger and identify synergies and automation opportunities within accounting and wider finance.
- Coordinate the accounting and month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare analysis on movements in key general ledger accounts and manage the accounting policy.
- Support entity setup in the UAE and participate in annual and interim audits.
- Contribute to defining consolidation and financial control processes and procedures.
- Prepare and review management and statutory reporting.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in finance functions, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Chartered Accountant trained in a reputable practice with strong accounting knowledge.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to unravel complex accounting queries.
- Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and ability to comprehend financial records for external stakeholders.
- Positive attitude with a 'can do' approach and willingness to take on various tasks.
- Self-motivated individual who can work under their own initiative.
- Exceptional organization, punctuality, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
