HVAC Engineer

Job Title: HVAC Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer with extensive knowledge and expertise in chiller installation, FAHU installation, chilled water piping, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience specifically in chilled water jobs.

Responsibilities:

1. Chiller Installation: Oversee the installation of chillers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and engineering standards.
2. FAHU Installation: Manage the installation of Fresh Air Handling Units (FAHU), including coordination with subcontractors and quality control.
3. Chilled Water Piping: Supervise chilled water piping projects, ensuring proper layout, installation, and insulation.
4. Maintenance: Implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of HVAC systems.
5. AutoCAD Drafting: Utilize AutoCAD to draft and modify shop drawings based on site conditions and project requirements.
6. Site Management: Report daily site activities to the management team, including progress updates, challenges, and solutions.
7. Project Planning: Develop and execute project plans in alignment with project timelines and goals.
8. Equipment Coordination: Coordinate equipment deliveries and installations, ensuring timely arrivals and proper installation procedures.
9. Team Leadership: Lead the site team, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure project success.
10. Communication: Attend weekly meetings, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and liaise with subcontractors as needed.
11. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in chilled water jobs, with expertise in chiller installation, FAHU installation, and chilled water piping.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and modifying shop drawings.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor project activities.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated track record of leading successful project teams.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
