Job Title: Information Security Manager

Position Overview
The Information Security Manager is responsible for developing and implementing information security strategies and policies to protect the organization's digital assets. This role includes overseeing the security of information systems, managing security risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Information Security Manager will work closely with IT, legal, and operational teams to safeguard sensitive information and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

Core Responsibilities

Developing and Implementing Security Strategies:
- Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies and policies.
- Ensure that security policies and procedures align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Managing Security Operations:
- Oversee daily security operations, including monitoring and responding to security incidents.
- Manage security tools and technologies, ensuring they are effectively configured and maintained.

Risk Management:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement risk management plans and security controls to protect sensitive data.

Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incidents.

Incident Response and Recovery:
- Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches and cyberattacks.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams and external parties.

Training and Awareness:
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security.
- Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and advise the organization accordingly.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and operational teams to ensure a holistic approach to information security.
- Communicate security risks and strategies to senior management and other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously monitor and improve the effectiveness of security measures.
- Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
