Job Title: IT Administrator

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IT Administrator to join our team. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the IT department, including receiving deliverables from IT suppliers, organizing and updating the IT asset register, coordinating with IT support engineers, and handling internal meetings and activities. The ideal candidate should be a multitasker with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This role involves maintaining the IT asset system, scanning department files, updating project and contracts registers, and preparing monthly reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and organize deliverables from IT suppliers.
- Maintain and update the IT asset register using the Asset system.
- Print barcodes and enter end-user details in the Asset system.
- Coordinate with IT support engineers to track assets in grid stations.
- Scan and organize IT department files.
- Arrange internal meetings and activities for the IT department.
- Update IT projects and contracts register in coordination with IT staff.
- Prepare monthly reports for the IT department.

Additional Information:
- We are looking for Omani nationals.
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of ISO/IES 27001 – Information Security Management System.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
- Hands-on experience in asset tracking systems.
- Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operational problems.
- Experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering.

Qualifications:
- 4 years diploma in administration or information technology.
- 4 years of experience in office organization management.
- 4 years of experience in an Asset tracking system.
- ITIL Foundation, A+ certifications are desirable.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
