Position Title: IT Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive IT infrastructure and network support for the organization, including remote assistance, system maintenance, software and hardware updates, and server maintenance.
- Proactively troubleshoot network malfunctions and operational difficulties, implementing efficient troubleshooting procedures to minimize downtime.
- Anticipate and mitigate communication and networking issues by implementing preventive measures.
- Establish and execute maintenance programs in accordance with company and vendor standards, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems.
- Ensure timely notification to users regarding maintenance requirements and the potential impact on system availability.
- Maintain compliance with IT assets management protocols and helpdesk system service level agreements (SLAs).
- Replace or repair defective parts and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Update network applications as needed to enhance functionality and security.
- Resolve hardware, connection, printer, and software issues reported to the Service Desk, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Investigate user problems, identify root causes, propose solutions, and collaborate with IT Administrator on escalated issues to ensure prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT support roles.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Java, and other programming systems.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work extended hours as necessary.

Job Prerequisites:

- Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Dubai before starting work.
- Prior experience in IT support roles, with at least 1 year of experience required.
