Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborative Testing:
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to define functional requirements and procedures for testing new features.
- Perform quality control on manufactured electronics and assemblies.
- Integrate new hardware components into the system and design, then execute, test procedures for these components.
- Provide organizational support and assistance to the Production team.

- Technical Documentation:
- Produce clear and concise technical documentation for replicating test executions.
- Generate detailed technical reports outlining test outcomes and integrate feedback with development teams.

- Continuous Learning:
- Demonstrate a willingness and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Experience and Skills:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.

- Professional Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in testing software and hardware.
- Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams or mechanical designs.
- Proficient in debugging hardware issues with tools like multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyser, vector analyser, SWR meter, etc.
- Basic debugging of software services and networking issues using tools like gdb, ssh, journald, systemd, tcpdump, docker, etc.
- Capable of setting up simple networks for nix-based devices.
- Experience with basic mechanical and soldering tools.
- Skilled in writing documentation about processes and managing them for Production use.
- Responsible for managing continuous testing, efficient data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with research and development methodologies.
- Proficiency with operating systems in the nix family.
- Basic experience with drone operations.
- Experience in setting up distributed UAV radio communication.
- Familiarity with Jira and Gitlab CI.
- Experience with testing browser-based software.
- Experience in managing manual test frameworks or test automation frameworks for CI.

- Location: Dubai, Silicon Oasis.
- Working Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
