Job Description

Title: Legal Counsel (Mid-Level) - Remote

Crystal Intelligence is seeking a Legal Counsel to serve as a key legal advisor for Crystal Intelligence and its subsidiaries. This role will encompass legal transactional work, operations, and risk management globally, with a particular focus on operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate should be deadline-focused, result-driven, and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within the Crystal team and with external parties.

Responsibilities:

- Advise Crystal management on legal issues, transactions, and strategies.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations and potential claims with the Senior Legal Counsel.
- Support non-legal functions in transactions involving legal issues, including contract drafting, negotiation, and implementation.
- Draft, review, and manage various contracts and transactions with Crystal companies and third parties.
- Conduct KYC checks and due diligence on new counterparties and business transactions.
- Act as the primary contact for compliance queries, including GDPR and AML/KYC.
- Ensure compliance with international/regional laws and update policies and terms for Crystal's websites and products.
- Monitor legislative changes and provide recommendations for ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with the parent entity's legal team on global corporate governance.
- Provide legal input to non-legal functions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain an up-to-date data room containing legal documents and information.
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

- 3-7 years of experience in contract and corporate law, preferably in Dubai.
- Advanced Degree in Law; familiarity with UAE legal system is advantageous.
- Experience in international companies, both consulting and in-house preferred.
- Strong drafting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with cross-border transactions and complex commercial contracts.
- Self-starter capable of thriving in a startup environment.
- Proficient in working with internal and external stakeholders on compliance issues.
