Job Summary

The Security Guard cum Driver is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of assigned premises and personnel. This dual role requires the individual to perform regular patrolling duties, respond to security incidents, and provide reliable transportation services as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Security Duties:
- Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the property and occupants. Monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to security alarms, emergencies, and incidents. Take appropriate action to mitigate risks and report incidents to the relevant authorities.
- Access Control: Manage access to the premises by checking identification, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the property.
- Report Writing: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities. Prepare written reports for management review.
- Surveillance: Operate and monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment. Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed.

Driving Duties:
- Transportation: Provide safe and reliable transportation for company executives, staff, and guests as required. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the company vehicle is in good working condition by performing regular maintenance checks, reporting any issues, and arranging for repairs.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for transportation needs. Use navigation tools to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals.
- Log Keeping: Maintain accurate records of travel times, destinations, and fuel usage. Submit logs to management as required.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to assist in emergency situations, providing transportation and support as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security role and 1 year of professional driving experience.
- License: Valid UAE driving license.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with surveillance equipment and basic computer skills.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Attention to Detail: Keen observational skills and attention to detail.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
- Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- First Aid: Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
