Job Title: Security Patrolling Officer

Job Summary/Purpose:
Under the supervision of the shift supervisor, the Security Patrolling Officer oversees security personnel to safeguard private property against theft and vandalism while ensuring the safety of individuals on the company's premises. Duties include patrolling sites by auto or foot and providing professional and positive security services through interaction with the public, visitors, or employees. The Officer acts as a first responder in the absence of the supervisor.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned personnel functions, including orientation, training, and in-service training programs for all security officers, while identifying potential security and safety hazards/risks.
- Maintain outstanding customer service and uphold respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
- Conduct team briefings at the beginning of shifts, updating personnel on developments and security concerns.
- Supervise personnel scheduling and assignments, ensuring proper uniform attire and equipment readiness.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned shifts, providing training and direction to subordinates.
- Patrol designated areas to protect the public, visitors, employees, and property of Duserve and its clients.
- Investigate and document safety hazards, incidents, and unlawful activities, in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Respond to various calls, providing initial direction and support in emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Maintain positive public relations, offering assistance as a source of information and direction, controlling traffic and parking, and investigating security, safety, and traffic incidents.
- Be observant and responsive to potential unlawful activity on-site, ensuring the premises are clear of unlawful activities.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Associate Degree in security or law enforcement.
- Valid UAE driver's license.
- Valid first aid certificate awarded by a certified training institute in the UAE.
- Proficient in English (verbal and written), with knowledge of Arabic and other languages desirable.

Certifications:
- SIRA
- First Aid, Firefighting

Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of extensive experience managing or leading a team of security personnel in a busy environment.
