Senior Accountant - SAP

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Ensure precise management of daily financial operations, encompassing the review and reconciliation of Daily Sales Reports, Income Journals, and Cashier summaries.
- Appropriately allocate daily revenue and ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality Fees regulations. Validate sales ledger charges, scrutinize Batch headers for accurate coding, and verify supplier invoices alongside relevant supporting documentation. Review General Ledger account codes and reconcile Daily banking with cashier’s summaries.
- Execute Cross Billing for all clubs on a weekly basis and maintain system-generated reports pertaining to the income audit process. Oversee new member invoices and refund vouchers, validate the input sheet for new supplier creation, and verify cash book payments along with general ledger account codes.
- Conduct checks on cash safe balances, review fixed assets invoices with supporting documentation, and input standard and recurring journals. Monthly duties include scrutinizing Income Auditor’s reconciliation reports, reconciling month-end revenue reports with SAP postings, and updating suppliers’ contracts.
- Additionally, reconcile the sales ledger control account, review monthly members' statements of accounts, and prepare month-end Accounts Payable control accounts. Ensure the preparation of depreciation reports, intercompany invoices, and reconciliation, in addition to reconciling various General Ledger Accounts and conducting Inventory Reports and reconciliation.
- Undertake bank reconciliation, reconcile Fixed Deposit Accounts, support in Cash Flow Analysis, and prepare schedules for Executive staff salary deductions and Commission payables.
- Maintain Lease and General maintenance contract files for Executive staff accommodations, support in Year-End Audit Preparation, and furnish necessary statements and information to Auditors upon request.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of three years of experience as a senior accountant.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAP.
