GIS Developer

Position Title: GIS Developer

Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing GIS applications and solutions using various programming languages and tools.
- Integrating GIS functionality into existing systems and applications.
- Developing and maintaining GIS databases and data management systems.
- Analyzing and processing spatial data to generate insights and inform decision-making.
- Creating and implementing geospatial analysis and visualization techniques.
- Developing and maintaining GIS-based web and mobile applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for GIS applications and systems.
- Participating in the testing and debugging of GIS applications.
- Keeping up to date with new developments and technologies in the field of GIS.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as React, Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
- 3-4 years of experience with GIS software, such as ArcGIS.
- Strong background in computer science and geospatial technologies.
- Experience with a variety of programming languages, such as Python and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of database management and spatial analysis tools.
- Familiarity with geospatial data formats, such as Shapefile and GeoJSON.
- Ability to develop and implement GIS solutions for various applications, including web and mobile.
- Proficiency with mapping libraries.
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis techniques, including spatial data processing and visualization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, geospatial technologies, or a related field.

Generic & Specific Skills:

- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
