Job Description


Role Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial accounting services, including the compilation, consolidation, and analysis of financial data to ensure compliance with internal regulations and external standards. This role also involves ensuring correct payments, proper accounting, and processing within defined timelines.

Who Will Fit:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Full qualification in CA, ACCA, CIMA.
- Must be a resident of Bahrain.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Accounts Payable Transaction Processing:
- Manage and process accounts payable transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in payment processing.

2. Accounts Receivables Transaction Processing:
- Oversee accounts receivables transactions.
- Monitor and ensure timely collections.

3. General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and manage the general ledger.
- Ensure proper classification and recording of financial transactions.

4. Month-End Closing Activities:
- Participate in month-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare necessary reports.

5. Issue Resolution:
- Address and resolve financial issues and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders for issue resolution.

6. Audits:
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Provide necessary documentation and support.

7. Documentation and Filing:
- Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping standards.

- Proficient in financial accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of relevant accounting software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with Bahraini financial regulations.
