Vacancy: Senior Manager, Financial Controller

Job Requirements:

The Financial Controller holds primary responsibility for overseeing all financial aspects and accounting reporting streams necessary for the risk-free functioning of the business. The role holder ensures accurate accounting, provides a high level of analytical skills in financial planning and reporting, manages account records, evaluates and manages risk, ensures compliance with regulations, publishes financial statements, oversees accounting operations, analyzes financial data, monitors expenditure, forecasts revenue, and coordinates auditing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. GL and consolidation
2. Non-trade AP recording (Payable credit side)
3. CAPEX recording and related depreciation and amortization.
4. Recording all expenses operational, marketing, HR, G&A, and all expenses by cost center.
5. General accounts and all other debit and credit balances
6. Treasury and bank reconciliation
7. Taxation
8. Liaison with auditors and tax consultants
9. Statutory financial reporting, and tax returns
10. Acquiring cycle daily and monthly closing across all related accounts, schemes, and partner banks.

Education/Certifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Qualified accountant CPA or equivalent is a must.

Experience/Knowledge:

- Minimum of 10+ accounting experience
- Solid track record in a previous controller position

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

- Experience of working in a multi-country finance department
- Experience working in a senior management position within an organization audited by one of the Big 4 accounting firms
- Experience in the financial services sector
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience in the integration of companies from a financial aspect is preferred
- Familiar with multi-currency consolidations
