FIP Technician

Job Title: Fuel Pump Injector Repair Technician

Qualifications:
- Graduate with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Automotive/Construction Industry.
- Experience in repairing fuel pump injectors or as a diesel mechanic.

Desired Skills:
- Proficient in dismantling and assembling Fuel Injection Pumps (FIP) and Injectors of different brands.
- Testing FIP and Injectors based on job orders and customer complaints.
- Providing reports/lists of defective parts after testing or inspection.
- Carrying out repairs of FIP/Injectors with required parts following standard repair procedures.
- Coordinating with Service Advisor or Workshop Supervisor for repair estimates.
- Calibrating FIP and injectors as per manufacturer's specifications.
- Assuming full responsibility for assigned work and ensuring job quality.
- Filling out job done reports once the job is completed and items are ready for release.
- Supporting/assisting the workshop technical team whenever necessary.

Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience in repairing fuel pump injectors or working as a diesel mechanic. Key responsibilities include dismantling and assembling FIP and Injectors, testing them as per job orders, providing reports on defective parts, carrying out repairs, coordinating with supervisors for estimates, calibrating according to specifications, and ensuring overall job quality. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for completing job reports and supporting the workshop technical team when needed.

Experience Requirements:
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the Automotive/Construction Industry, specifically in repairing fuel pump injectors or as a diesel mechanic.
